The words of Isaiah were meant for all branches of the House of Israel, and they have relevance to those who live in our times. Since the Jews of Isaiah's time understood in a certain way, some of the messages could be lost to someone of another culture and time.
2 Nephi 25: 10-18

The Lord explains how he will work with the people of Jerusalem for many generations, eventually reassembling them in His own time and in His own way.
2 Nephi 25: 19-25
600 years........................................................time from Nephi to the coming of Messiah
bitten by snakes, Moses.......................................a serious problem with a simple answer. Men must accept the simplicity and apply it to be saved.

those who possess records....................................those who have the word are judged by it

law dead...........................................................the salvation is from God. It judges us, but God saves us.
The Lord explains the importance of the records given in the latter-days. Those who receive them are judged by them. The only antidote is to accept the Messiah who can atone for our sins, and bring to us the gift of salvation.
2 Nephi 25: 20-30

The prophet Nephi explains the value of teaching the gospel.
2 Nephi 25
This chapter explains and demonstrates the manner that Nephi believes will help those outside of the Jewish culture. He talks directly without the Jewish allusions and prophetic idioms so that all will understand the importance of accepting Christ and relying on this saving atonement.
