The Messiah will come to earth (first coming), and his works and deeds will lead to the greatest of all reconciliations.

2 Nephi 21: 9-16

Prophecies about the second coming of Christ

2 Nephi 21

The Messiah will establish his life and leave great wisdom to the earth in his first coming.  In his Second coming, he will gather the House of Israel and other righteous believers.  Eventually this will lead to a world harmony as a part of the Atonement.
